Adisa Hameed, a 300-level student, has been elected President of the Students’ Historical Society of Nigeria, University of Ibadan Chapter.
He secured this victory in a tight race against his opponent winning by a margin of 19 votes.
The election, held earlier in the day, saw a total of 85 votes cast for the 7 contested executive positions. However, two positions, Treasurer and Public Relations Officer, remained vacant.
